Hotel Caravel Zante Planos Tsilivi Zakynthos

I am just back from Zante. I go their twice a year. It is the first time I have stayed in the carvel and I would go back next year. We went half board, we thought there was a very good choice of food. In fact it was better than a lot of holtels I have stayed in. I suffer from a very bad stomache and I always found something I could eat. Maybe it was because we were not all inclusive because we had our breakfast and dinner then went out. A lot of guests think if they are all inclusive they just stay in hotel to get their moneys worth. The rooms were cleaned every day and beds were very good.I found the staff very nice.

I would highly recommend going to Zante, Greece, the people are friendly, but unfortunately within the Hotel Caravel they were not. The bar staff were extremely rude, gave the impression that we were inconveniencing them by ordering drinks. They argued with members of our party about why were were ordering from the snack bar and not going into the restaurant. They cann't call this hotel all inclusive, it is part inclusive, the children's pool, which is a long the beach was OK but you have to pay for your drinks at that bar, so they cann't even say they cater for families. The sports activities kept on getting cancelled because they wanted their 2 hour breaks, so the children started to get bored, as there wasn't anything to do. The accommodation was OK. The food was average, but always seemed to be the same old thing day in day out.
