Excellent but pricey

Excellent service from the word "go": our room wasn't ready so we were given free drinks while we waited (we'd arrived a bit early), our car was parked for us, and we felt properly looked after. The room was absolutely fine with a huge sea-facing balcony - though this was shared with the next two rooms, so there could have been an issue of privacy if someone had happened to wander past our window. The bathroom had a full-size bath, which is always nice.
Breakfast was excellent and varied, and all in all we had a very pleasant 3 nights here. But at a price. We moved on to a simpler hotel in Tsangarada with more limited facilities but equally attentive proprietors, and a far more spectacular location and view, where we could have stayed 8 nights for the price of 3 in Volos Palace.

This was the 2nd stay. Beautiful, airy, well furnished romms. Delicious breakfast. Polite, helpful and friendly staff. First choice in Thessaly.

It is an excellent hotel!
Very friendly staff, really clean and warm.
Perfectly decorated, good price sunny rooms very good organised mini bar and pich breakfast. Distance from the centre of town 6-7 min walking distance
