I almost lost my eyesight because of the overdose of chlorine in the swimming pool

The most experience I had was from the Goergidakis hotel. I stayed at King Minos in Peloponnesus and especially at Tolo Argolidas. What forced me to leave that awful hotel was that I almost lost my eyesight because of the overdose of chlorine in the swimming pool. The diagnosis of the state hospital Nafplio was sharp burn of cornea. You can't imagine how I felt when I heard it. The hotel owner, although at first admitted the chlorine overdose. The next day he denied everything, claiming that his pool was completely clear. If u can't avoid Georgidakis family hotels, at least try to avoid King Minos.

We have stayed at the Hotel King Minos for three summers and we've just booked for a long stay next August. The best way to describe the friendly atmosphere is by saying we feel at home when we are there. The staff are incredibly polite and patient and the place...wow, what a place! a stunning view over the bay in daylight, the lights of Tolo at our feet at night. And then the rainbow-yes, really,we have seen the rainbow twice, leading us right from our room to Nauplion. We believe there's nothing like the King Minos in the Peloponnese, and no place like the Peloponnese in the world.

We are Andy & Jane and we have stayed at the King Minos on 2 previous occasions. The hotel is very good by Greek standards, with very bright, airy rooms and stunning views if you choose a sea view room which for us is a must. The staff are excellent and we would thoroughly recommend this hotel along with the lovely resort of Tolo. If you do come to this hotel then make sure you opt for a sea view room. It's well worth the extra few pounds, apart from which the mountain view rooms back onto a road with a steep incline. These are drab by comparison due to being in the shade most of the time. All in all an excellent hotel with views you dream of. We intended to go again this year but our tour operator (First Choice Holidays) have withdrawn from the Peloponnese area of Greece for 2006. This hotel however is available through Sunvil.

King Minos is the most welcoming friendly hotel I have visited. The staff are polite and very helpful. The panoramic view of the bay of Tolo is well worth the climb up the hill and is a great excuse for sitting with a drink from the well run pool bar. The hotel is spotlessly clean and I have no hesitation in recommending it to make a stay in Tolo even more enjoyable.
