Thessaloniki bus station Find out which bus & which stand it departs from BEFORE you get to station. We arrived and had a choice of 3 stands to get a bus to the airport but no information to indicate which one to choose. No one spoke English (!) & eventually we found out at the train station info kiosk that we needed to cross the ludicrously busy road to a bus stop which would take us to the airport. There are no pedestrian crossings which made trying to cross the road almost impossible, the drivers are incredibly rude (despite the traffic being stationary the drivers STILL objected to us trying to cross, blasting horns and shouting - unbelievable) and we took our lives in our hands trying to get to the other side with 5 cases and 2 kids. NEVER again!
