Greeted by Fiona[friendly]drinks at the bar info from Theo, then helped with luggage to the room from Costas. Hired a car for 3 days, lots to see. Great beaches, enjoyed evenings in the bar, very friendly and very funny, lots of laughs. Cocktails very good. Staff very friendly, great location, service special.

Rooms in dire need of uplift and tlc, the staff worked their socks off and were fantastic - the owners did nothing were rude and tried to rip you off at every opportunity. Limenaria was lovely would go again but different hotel.

This was our 6th visit to thassos,(we are coming to live on the island this year)this was our first stay at this hotel although we had a very enjoyable stay and staff and owners were very helpful and friendly, we did feel rooms were in need of a little updating(eg cupboard doors/drawers very distressed) having said that the hotel was kept very clean, maid service every day. The location just feet from the beach is ideal, pool very good, the front man Theo is very entertaining and always ready with some comment to brighten your day. Breakfast is served overlooking beach. wide variety of drinks and food are on offer and reasonably priced.

Top Local Tips for Thassos

Build up some muscles The coach for this hotel is along the main road at the back with a large slope and quite a walk to the hotel and there are no lifts inside the hotel so not for the weak or weary

lovely island Thassos is a great island for a relaxing break.Nice for couples but certainly not for late night revellers.We stayed in limenaria which has a flat sea front which made easy walking but the ferry could be a problem from kavala for the elderly but might be ok with some help.For older couples early or late season I think would be better.

Go before the 15th July Make sure you try to go before the 15th July as most of the Greek people go over for holidays after the 15th July ad there is no room to breathe and people end up sleeping on beaches and in cars as everywhere is fully booked!
