Great low cost hotel

Have stayed at Hotel lena on two visits to Thassos. Amy and her staff keep a very clean,freindly hotel. Jay, makes a great cup of coffee in the afternoons and always has time for a chat. Highly recommeded if you are looking for clean,cheep,freindly hotel. Many people return year after year.

In September 2007, my boyfriend and I stood at the Lena hotel in Thassos. It was lovely. The rooms were quite basic, but we were very well treated by the owner, a very nice American lady who served us a good breakfast, cleaned the rooms and even washed our clothes! My rating is 7 because there were times during the day when we couldn't use hot water because of their solar system (this happens everywhere in Greece). Anyway it wasn't a very big problem as this situation did not last.

We have just come back from 2 weeks in Thassos town. We thought the resort was really nice very laid back maybe a little quieter than we thought. Very nice places to eat great food and fairly cheap. Villa Lena where we stayed was really nice basic rooms but very clean, mike the barman there is really nice he is a mind of information on Thassos.
