Thassos Wonderful Budget Hotel
Thassos and Golden Beach are wonderful, unfortunately the self catering apartment was a poorly equipped "cave" of a studio, and the hotel decided to install aircon while we were there. Builders being builders, they left lots of mess which we had to asked to be cleaned up.
Nice pool but we won't be going back.

Paradise!
We truly found paradise at Golden Beach (Hrisi Amoudia)on the island of Thasos. Hotel Ioannis has an excellent pool, great staff, and decent accomodations for the price. Very scenic and located right next to the most beautiful beach along with restaurants, bakery, taverns and grocery store. Internet cafe also located nearby. I enjoyed it so much I had to go back a second time within a month. You won't regret it.
