We actually got re-allocated to Margi rooms because we had been double-booked at Veronica rooms.... and we were really pleased because the location was incredible; the view was to die for! The pool was much bigger than Veronica's too, and much of the time it was just us and a few other of the guests using it, so felt more like an exclusive and private pool! Nellie, our cleaner, was lovely and very friendly despite her only speaking a few words of English... and us only knowing a few words of Greek!!! Accommodation was basic but comfortable. Only downside was that the last bit of road up to Margi was quite steep.... but the incredible sound to cicadas more than made up for that! Would definately recommend anyone to stay at Margi. Oh, must mention Manos, owner of Manos supermarket which was located opposite Veronica rooms, just a few minutes below Margi. He was so helpful and friendly, also his prices were generally cheaper than the other supermarkets we took a look in at. He really contributed to our stay and we will remember for a long time his smiling face and eagerness to help and advise us on where to go and what to see, especially his suggestion that we should try a nearby restaurant, Green Park, which was one of the best restaurants we have ever been to.... and cheaper than the others that we tried during our stay in Skiathos. If all people were like Manos there would be no problems in the World.
