Don't forget your Driving Licence. The only way to see the island is by hired car or moped. So if you want to explore inland, bring a licence with you (we forgot ours).

Bus service The bus service on the island is excellent and easy to get around on. It is inexpensive and very frequent. You will however have to get a taxi from the airport as the buses dont go there. September is the ideal time to go there as it is not so crowded and the weather is not as hot even though we hit a heat wave and had temperatures up to 37 degrees centigrade.
