The hotel is lovely. Not far from the beach or a market. walked to the far end of the island to go horse riding and it only took 30mins. The views from the poolside are fantastic. I quite liked looking at the giant rock in the sea from the corner. Dimitri and his family are lovely and cook a lovely BBQ and makes sure u have something. The only problems were bits falling off the walls in the bathroom and the showers were placed at a silly angle so you had to stand at the opposite end to get the slightest bit wet. If you took it down so you could reach, it soaked the bathroom.

We absolutely loved La Luna and cant wait to go back. We are hoping to go back in September this year. Dimitri and Roulla are lovely people and make you feel welcome. They also remember your first names and make the best 'harvey wallbanger' on the island.

The location of the apartments is up a very steep hill or several sets of steps. The nearest supermarket and taverns are quite a strenuous walk uphill car or scooter hire is needed for the less agile! Fantastic views from the pool and bar. The accommodation is modern, a bit small but functional. The air conditioning is expensive 80 euro a week to run 2 units! Had wonderful holiday and will return to Skiathos.

Will going back for a third time next week! . . .Dimi & staff are always really helpful and friendly, rooms very clean & tidy, swimming pool, clean & quiet, the best way to spend an evening watching the sunset & having the fabulous weekly BBQ!!

My girlfriend and I have been twice and loved every second of each holiday, hotel was lovely and clean, swimming pool is quiet and peaceful, manager and his girlfriend were brilliant and we will be going back this year!

All in all the hotel was fine the manager was lovely, but when I returned home and unpacked we found that many items of clothing were missing , the only time we left our cases unlocked was when we packed for the return journey, we left out what we would need and we just added the clothes we were wearing locked the cases and left, we have tried to phone the reps office in Greece but we have been unable to make contact, we have tried to get in touch with first choice and nothing .we feel we have been taken for fools we booked in good faith we didn't expect to be robbed by the cleaners ,I would just like to go back till the morning we flew out and confront the two cleaners as I am 100per cent certain they took over 12 items of expensive clothing ,we just think people should be made aware and double check their luggage before leaving.
