We selected the Shine Hotel due to its location, after some research on the internet and on the basis of positive reviews on Trip Advisor. We were very pleased with our choice and would definitley stay there again. Words are not enough...... I was there in May and we arrived on the Island at 7AM. I still remember the silance, the image of Caldera. The hotel has 10 rooms but very clean and situatted on 2 floors. Restaurants and super markets are very near, where you could easily walk. The owner Mr Argiris i a fantastic person. He helps us with a lot of informations about the island and show us how we can eat good,tasty and cheap in the local taverns and restaurants who the local people going to eat. The hotel is on the best point but you can also visit to other parts of the island travel by bus or ask the staff call you a taxi (to Fira and Oia you don't have to change the bus). In Fira you can find the real night life if you need one, bars, discos and of course a lot of restaurants. The hotel's website pictures are exactly what the place looks like which is very unusual. After all we can recommend Shine Hotel and Santorini to all who want to have a holiday at a very beautiful place end enjoy every part of it.

This is my 2nd time in Santorini and we have always wanted to experience the "Shine hotel" hospitality. This time we manage to book a volcano view room with private outdoor jacuzzi on our balcony to enjoy the view, for a couple of days.This is a perfect place for a romantic getaway without the party and buzz. Just to enjoy a quiet & undisturbed vacation with the view of the famous sunset (I personally feel the view in imerovigli especially in Shine Hotel is better than OIA).The staff were so thoughtful--we really felt like we were taken care of the minute we checked in to the minute we left. We took Argiris's advice to rent a car and it worked out wonderfully--we got to see Santorini at its best. Can't wait to return again and definitely stay in Shine Hotel!

The staff, especially the owners, Argiris and his wife Margarita were absolutely fantastic. They treated us like family and epitomize the term greek hospitality. Excellent jacuzzi and beautiful volcano views. Close to the main square of Imerovigli.No steps to go down to the cliff.Very nice point!! If we go back to Santorini, we would not mind at all staying at the hotel again. Thank you for everything.

Everything! This was an amazing hotel and our room and service was wonderful. This was for our honeymoon and the stay at SHINE HOTEL made it extra special. The view is amazing! Every morning we loved sitting on our balcony eating our large brekfeast and then geting in our private jacuzzi and enjoy the volcano view.

The staff were absolutely wonderful. The man who was at reception was lovely and helped us with everything. The owner who not only brought our bags down and back up the stairs to our room all by himself was wonderful and he brought us tea the morning we were leaving even though it was 2 hours before they officially opened. The owner Mr Argiris was lovely and made sure we were happy with everything and was very accommodating. Breakfast on your balcony in the morning was beautiful. It was a wonderful place to stay! I would definitely go back again. Hiring the car from the port was also great as we were able to get around very easily and hired a quad bike for fun for a day.

Wonderful, clean and lovely arranged place. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. All of them: receptionist,cleaning and helping staff deserved the highest compliments. Hotel is remote, quiet and romantic with a great view. Definitely recommended for the couples who want to have romantic escape, honeymoon etc… We loved the view from our heating jacuzzi on our balcony.Mr Argiris was very kind.
