The service was excellent—the owners and staff make you feel like your family. The suite was twice every day cleaned. I requested for a private jewellery show, in order to propose to my wife, and it was arranged the same day. I stayed the Honeymoon suite with the indoor Jacuzzi pool with Swarofski crystals on the roof, and the private outdoor pool. We highly recommend this hotel when visiting Santorini, and especially for Honeymooners. We hope to visit again! Definitely higher than a 5 Star Hotel! Astarte suites is truly a top notch hotel with first class service. It's unlike any hotel we've ever been to before.

Right from our arrival,the service was incredible,from the front desk to poolside.
Our rooms were constantly cleaned and well-stocked by the housekeeping staff.The pool was also great. The breakfast every morning is tasteful, you don't have to wake up early because they serve it until noon either near the pool or to your room! Our room had a fantastic view of volcano even from inside the suite. The staff is very helpful in planning any excursions around Santorini.

Casablanca Casanlanca is a great bar at Fira capital playing soul music, and serves great coctails.
Sea side Astarte suites's general manager proposed us a fantastic restaurant at Perivolos beach. Everything was delicious.
Definitely need a vehicle to get around! Santorini is atop a moutain. The entire island is either up or down hill. Walking is possible, but not advised. Also, the only taxis we saw were in Fira, so catching a ride is not the easy. We stayed in Akrotiri. If it were not for the staff at our hotel who arranged everything for us, we would have not been able to go anywhere absent a rental. Rent a 4-wheeler to get around. They are half the price of renting a car and just as convenient. Also, the streets are extremely narrow and there doesn't seem to be many rules when it comes to the road. I think a car is more difficult to get around in because of the narrow streets and nowhere to park. If you go during the summer months, the weather is beautiful and you'll enjoy the drive up the countryside on the buggy.

George became our wedding planner - he did everything and was always on the end of an email for questions. He organised flowers, wedding cake, food, decoration, my family, friends and a lot lot more. We planned the wedding blindfolded, we had never seen the Astarte Suites in person, only on the internet. The night we arrived in Santorini we were obviously nervous but we drove over to Astarte Suites. The sun was just setting and we cautiously opened the blue door into the Astarte Suites - straight away it was perfect. George greeted us and all my fears just disappeared. The place is stunning and no amount of pictures can really give you an idea of this place until you see it with your own eyes. The suites, the infinity pool, the view and the family are all spectacular.
George and his family made my wedding day what it should be - perfect. George even stepped in when the DJ we had booked cancelled at 12pm on the wedding day! and found a new one!!! Words can not fully describe the experience we had at the Astarte Suites. I have lived in the UK, New Zealand and America and visited some amazing places but nothing even comes close to the Astarte Suites. Not only do George and his family offer excellent service they also offer kindness and a passion to make everything the best it can be. We didnt get a chance to say thank you to George's mum but thank you!! We had little children at the hotel/wedding and we also stayed for two nights and they were safe and happy.
What more can I say other than if you are reading this and wanting to find the most idyllic, peaceful, beautiful place for your wedding (or even just a hotel stay) this is the place! Once again thank you to everyone at the Astarte Suites - I could not have asked for more.
