went to sani beach hotel &spa for my 50th b day could not have asked for more .we have a thirteen year old daughter and so could go in the veranda restaraunt children must be 12 or overas we went in the other restaraunt first night and it was very busy with young kids. the food and service was excellent. we had champaiigne on arrival and at the welcome meeting . nothing was too much trouble. dine out facility available but only did it once at the greek taverna had set meal very boat trip to see dolphins and swim was great. the only thing to complain was the prices ,wines and drinks very expensive but on the whole holiday through airtours was well worth the money
Great holiday for us all

We have just come back from this hotel, and we had a great time, the beach was lovely and clean, plenty of sunbeds either around the pool or on the beach, it was lovely just not to have to fight to find a sunbed.. which we have had to do at other hotels... food excellent again plenty of choice for us as well as our 6year old daughter... who enjoyed being able to sample different things.. Not packed out in the restaurant plenty of room, and the staff were very helpful, nothing too much trouble...our view from our hotel room was brilliant we were on the sixth floor and the room was very clean and well maintained.. Marina was not too far either, a lovely stroll which we enjoyed many times in the evenings, our daughter loved it. If anything against the hotel, the only thing we would have liked is that you could stay 10nights instead of the normal 7 or 14 nights.. as a family we would go back again, very high standards in many ways.... after reading the previous review, if people don't want children at the hotel, then they should not book into a family hotel in the first place...
Lovely...but pricey

This was a well deserved break for me and my husband (2 kids left with family) so we were determined to enjoy, regardless. We got a really good deal thru Airtours so weren't expecting too much. VERY pleasantly surprised. The hotel was lovely, room was adequate, fresh towels every day. Surprisingly well equipped gym. We were half board and the food at the hotel was great. (except the sloppy scrambled eggs at breakfast) There was the chance to dine around at a handful of restaurants on the marina, but to be honest the food was a disappointment. Several restaurants were heralded as being in the top ten best restaurants in Europe. Hmmmm. Not convinced. For a start you could either eat the set menu for no extra cost (bog standard) or have a discount and eat a la carte (equally bog standard). I suppose its all a matter of taste. We ended up back at the hotel most nights which was convenient as we spent most days scuba diving (check out Seaworld at Sani Beach Club). Drinks at the hotel are pretty much the same as over here, without the happy hour/drinks offers that we all love. (though there is a happy hour at the Sani Beach Club between 5 and 6 where you can get half price cocktails but don't know if this will extend to high season). If you're not bothered about sitting in a bar spending a fortune, get your drinks from the supermarket on the marina and enjoy the views from your balcony. In short, lovely hotel, clean room, surprisingly pricey for Greece, but a really great holiday.

We travelled to the Sani Beach Hotel with First Choice Holidays on 18th May 2006 for one week. Our room was quite small though quite comfortable. We complained that the air conditioning wasnt working and was told it wasnt turned on until June even though the temperature reached 35C BUT I guess some irate German guests must have made the same complaint because the airconditioning came on for the last 2 days of our stay. The hotel was large and elegant with marble walls and floors in the public areas with many comforable lounges and bars to choose from. There were plenty of sunbeds both by the pool, on the beach and surrounding lawns with complimentary beach towels. The hotel beaches were very clean BUT further along, the beach was still suffering from the winter storms and littered with garbage but was in the process of being cleaned up for the season. The best thing about the hotel was the staff. They couldn't be more helpful and friendly. The downside was meal times. We chose May to avoid kids holidays BUT the hotel was filled with young families and they ruined meal times with their crying, screaming and running around. Like most hotels now, the dinners were buffet style and unsupervised children had their hands in the food in their attempt to serve themselves. Very unhygienic. I usually like an afterdinner walk, but the only place to walk to was the small marina and to be honest, one visit was enough to see everything there was. I liked the hotel and I would recommend it. I had a very relaxing, enjoyable holiday and I would return oneday.
