although this is not the cheapest accommodation on the island, it is one of the best we have stayed in. We have been to Samos several times, and this hotel exceeds the others. The rooms were newly renovated,air conditioning was excellent, the staff were very friendly and amicable. As for the food, it was extremely good! You have the option with the half board to eat at lunchtime instead of the evening - this will allow the opportunity to visit the town.Although you are close to the runway, there are not many flights to the island, and definitely no night flights, so the planes are not a problem. Restaurants in the town are of a high standard - i can reccommend Appollonia, Espirides and Aphrodite.The walk into town takes about 15 mins or taxis are quite cheap to use. The best bar to visit is Summertime bar - go and say hello to Manoli and Effy- they are great. Enjoy your stay!!
