Heaven in a Hotel

We stayed for 14 nights in this lovely hotel at the beginning of July 2007. Despina, the owner, and her staff are the most helpful and courteous of people, even for Greeks. Extremely clean, with a change of bedding at least twice weekly and towels (including a proper sized bath towels)changed aevery other day when we were there. We were in room 21, which overlooked the sea. Perfect for Dolphin spotting, and we spotted many, in the bay. Breakfasts were very good by most standards, and taken Al Fresco looking out to sea. For a restful holiday Balos is perfect, and for a wonderful place to stay in Balos, the Amfilissos is just pure heaven. We are already planning our return next year!

A lovely hotel in a beautiful location. Despina looked after us very well. She provided generous breakfasts and was always around to help and advise. The hotel was well run and very clean. We are going back next year. It was a wonderful holiday.
