Come to this Hotel!from Andyyy
The rooms of the hotel were kept very clean with cleaners every morning, both pools front and back were cleaned every morning with 1 man and his net! The staff there are very happy to help and were very friendly, lots of activities availiable (water polo, pool volley ball, darts, water gym ) etc and there is evening entertaining which got a bit tedious after the second week as it is the same schedule each week.
The food is a buffet hwoever you can choose from greek style food or english or simpler meals like, chicken nuggets, fish fingers, burgers, chips and bowl of ketchup.
The only problem we encountered was the fact that we had a room on the first floor right next to the stairs, so you could hear everyone comming up and down the stairs as there were very echoey stays and very very noisey at night when your trying to get a sleep. SO i would recommend that if given one of those rooms that you ask for one at the other end nearer the fire exit.
Also if you want to use a laundry the hotel offer a laundry of where the cleaners collect your clothes and wash and dry clean them however the prices are not that cheap 3 euros for one shirt.
The village of ixia is a 1 minutes walk to the left with lots of bars and chinese resturant, however we walked to Rhodes one day but took us 1 hour so i recommend you take the reliable bus which leaves outside the hotel every half an hour and costs 1.70 euro and takes you to the centre.
Many people say the main road outside the hotel is impossible to cross however if you step down the kerb into the road you are always let across by the cars and if not you wait max 30 secs for a space to cross.
If going to rhodes i recommened the road train round rhodes town howver you have to fight with everyone else to get a seat but its worth it and also a boat trip to lindos!
Any other questions happy to answer them. Lanky_bfg@hotmail.com

I will start with the faults...
The Resturant: The staff were very slow to fill the empty trays with meat, chips etc...
There was a little balcony with one table on it. We tried to book it for my Birthday, but didnt get it. Then we tried to book it for our Anniversary, and we didnt get ti then. It seemed if your face fitted you got it !!
All inclusive drinks: The vodka was very weak and some times tasted of ouzo. The bar staff were very stricked with last orders.
The Beach: The beach is the worst beach we have ever seen, it hurts your feet to walk on it, and it is like grit !!
The hotel over all is lovely, very modern and the pool is beautiful. The rooms are very, very clean with fresh towels every day. We had two sea view rooms (and didnt pay extra). Other people in our hotel paid for sea view rooms and didnt get them.
They have refurbished the top floor rooms which look stunning, but the British dont get them.
We had a fab holiday and would stay in this hotel again if it was on another Greek island, because we have been to Rhodes 3 times now.

Great Holidayfrom Family-Reds
We had a really good holiday.
Stayed on the 5th floor so were in the new rooms. Very clean with new towels and beds made every day.
People complained about things that i felt were things that could of been better. Like more choice at the snack bar for lunch. More bar staff, better entertainment. To me very minor issues. I feel people complain just for complaining sake.
Staff were friendly, if you cared to get to know them. Yannis behind the main bar we really liked. People said he was grumpy.... speak to the guy and you find him amusing.
Very safe for kids, our son met up with others 12 of them at one point. It was his favourite holiday. Pool was great (not heated... some say ha ha) When your hot thats what you want cold water to cool you down....
No complaints what so ever had a great time....
Good Value for Moneyfrom A TripAdvisor Member
The room was very clean & tidy, cleaned daily as was the bathroom with towel & linen changes.
The Reception team were able to give us all the information we needed for Car Hire and trips, (we booked the day trip to Turkey with them) and you do not pay a premium for this service.
The Pool is a good size filled with Towns water (chlorinated) and cleaned daily.
The Resturant is a suitable size for the Hotel, the food is of a High Standard, well presented and easy to access, in our 2 week stay we did not have to eat the same meal twice, when you consider that All Inclusive Holiday's are run to a very tight budget it is a credit to the Resturant Manager Mr. Spiros Laubrakis that we ate well and his well trained staff attended to are every needs.
We would recomend the Hotel Oceanis to all that are looking for a realy good value Holiday

Oceanis is greatfrom A TripAdvisor Member
On arrival we were very impressed. The reception was beautiful and very modern with wooden stairs. They had just completed a major refurbishment. The rooms were very nice and very modern with a nice bathroom. The shower was a bit of a problem with the temperature but it didn't bother us. Great views of the sea from the restaurant which was lovely with great food. There wasn't anything that i didn't like. The sea was just across the road which was great. The main pool at the front of the hotel is really nice and one depth where you could stand up in it, and also stairs going down into the pool instead of those horrible ladders pools usually have. Weather was perfect although i got bitten by mosquitos about 8 times. It is only about 10-15 minutes from the hotel. The staff were great, especially the ones in the restaurant who work extremely hard.
I would love to go back to this hotel in the future, and thoroughly recommend it.

First impressions of the hotel amazing i cannot complain about anything the service and friendliness of staff was superb and there was a wide range of excellent food available for both breakfast and dinner done in a buffet style. This is a superb hotel, newly refurbished,it is beautifull. The rooms all have air conditioning in the hotel and it is just about enough to keep your room at a nice temperature. If you want my advice ,get a room at the front of the hotel ,they cost extra but believe me its worth it!I have been to Rhodes 3 times
before, but this hotel is by far the best i have been to.I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It was brilliant!
Top Local Tips for Rhodes
must do You Must Visit old rhodes town and go on the symi trip but book with independant agent and not with rep and you will have a better deal by far.
Car Hire Shop around - average for 3 days is euro 120. But this is a cost saving as most of the trips are around 20 Euros. If there a re 2 of you this can get dear so a car is a good option as petrol is half the price of home. Maps are not too bad and the road signs are in English and Greek so you should be okay
Easy to get around The buses run about every 20 minutes from outside the hotel to Rhodes town. It costs 1.80 euros for a single journey which is really good value. These buses can be very busy where everyone is packed on like cattle but it's really an experience. The taxis cost 6 euros from the hotel to Rhodes town and they are always available. Ixia itself has only a few supermarkets which I must admit, do sell about everything you could want. There are lots of restaurants and bars and mini-golf at the Olympic Palace hotel which is about 200 yards from the Oceanis, which is very popular
