The entrance is down a cobbled alley, which makes you wonder what on earth its going to be like. You enter through a stone archway into a beautiful, open air, sunlit courtyard. A marble, spiral staircase takes you upstairs to the rooms which are simple and basic, each room has a private bathroom, fridge and ceiling fan(no air con yet). IT is owed and run by Maria(American) and her Greek husband George, who also live on the premises. You get to meet the other guests at breakfast who, like us, have been many times before. It is friendly and informal, everyone is on first name terms here, you are more than just a number. The location couldnt be better, you are very close to the beach, shops, bars and restaurants but you dont get disturbed by any traffic noise or drunken tourists! I could not consider staying anywhere else when I am in Rhodes. Maria and George have great personalities and sense of humour and you end up like one of the family. Give them a try, you will not be disapointed.
