Excellent holiday, facilities, food and staff
WE have just returned from an excellent week in this superb hotel. The quiet location suited us-we had car hire, so managed to see what we wished on the island. The island, people, weather etc were excellent. The hotel is of an extremely high standard, well planned, large grounds, superb facilities, pleasant helpful staff, good ambience, and with superb food.Often we get a little "tired" of hotel food by 7 days-but not this one! Choice/ flexibility / all day food and drink availability and quality made this a memorable holiday.80% of clients were German, 10% Italian-and only a few from the UK!This did not detract at all from the holiday. Our sentiments are shared by another UK couple we met.One slight negative-the loudness of music around 4-6.00 pm re activities.I am sure this can be amended. Would go back!

Stunning & Cosmoplitan
We have just returned from a two week break at the Lindos Princess,(21.09.05) and I would concure with some of the previous reviews that the hotel is of an exceptional standard. The rooms are quite spacious and most have a sea view or side sea view. The food was not piping hot, but we are on a Greek Island, but it was of a very good standard, and cooked well. The varieties at meal times was excellent, and the cheese board at dinner was unbeleivable (probably the best we have seen in many four and five star hotels we have stayed in. As others have mentioned, Brits are out numbered, but from our point of view we enjoyed mixing and trying to communicate with the Greeks,French,Italians,Germans and Spanish. And our knowledge of foreign language is ashamingly poor. But bars do have a tendancy to bring people together. We found the staff very receptive and once they realised we were from the UK they could not do enough for us.They said to us that during the period of our stay it was the high... Read more

Nice Hotel, Shame about most of the staff!
Have just returned from a 2 week stay at this hotel. Agree with other reviews that it is a beautiful hotel. Seems that they have learned from their mistakes earlier in the season because we had no problems with the food being cold. Main problem with the hotel is the 'German/Italian' factor. Whilst we were there it was mainly Germans and Italians staying - there were probably only about 2% of the 1200 guests that were British. Although all the entertainment was in German and Italian we did not find this to be a problem as there are bars that you can sit in to avoid the entertainment. Biggest problem with the hotel is the staff (with the exception of a few). As soon as the staff realise you are English their attitude changes. They go out of their way to help Germans and Italians and are unfriendly and even rude to Brits. We had a nice holiday but I would avoid this hotel in the future - unless they change their attitude. I even told the Manager to stop accepting British bookings if he ca... Read more

Beautiful hotel
Stayed at this beautiful hotel for 1 week - 18th may 05. When we arrived at the hotel, we could not believe the beautiful standard of the hotel. A porter was there to take our luggage to our room as we signed in. We then were given our key, and went to our room. Here to our surprise, the room was very big and bright, with nice furniture and a mini bar already filled with all our drink. We came downstairs at 10:55 pm to ask if we could have an evening meal as we arrived late, we were told we could have our meal at the snack/pool bar which served very nice food. We then returned back to our room to retire, on the way back we could not help to notice how beautiful the pool and walking area was. Now for the downside : 80% German, 10% Other Countries and 10% English. This became a struggle as all of the entertainment was in German therefore we could not participate easily. Also the food was aimed for the German taste, therefore we found it difficult to find food to our taste and often we fo... Read more

Stunning!
This hotel is absolutely stunning, rooms are great, pools are great. Big problem: it is built for German tourists. When we arrived the animation team asked "what are you doing in a German hotel". Because of that every night was catered in German, we spent each night playing cards (our ages being 46, 37 and 21) in the bar or grabbing loads of drinks and going back to the room. Another thing although the food was ok, it was always cold. We booked through Medhotels and they told us that there were loads of English staying but there were about another three couples and we could see that, like us, they were finding it very difficult that it was dominated by Germans and everything was catered for in German. Also, don't get conned by using their tranfers, they charged us £50 each when we could have just got a taxi and the total would have probably been £50 (for all three of us) there and back to the airport.
