I went toRhodes withoput booking a hotel from home, May is low season it would not be a problem to find one. I wen to the touris office and they gave me some cards of hotels in the old town , I went to see a couple of those and I decided for the HOTEL ATTIKI, beautifoul!!! Perfect location, just 5 minutes from all the sites that you want to visit in the old towa and also from the harbour and the tourist office. The hotel is run by an Italian couple, Francesco and Mara, they are very nice and they reserv the guests many attentions, the breakfast is european style, very reach and complete, from fruit to sweets to some salty things. Very nice. The rooms are fine decorated, not too many things inside on the walls, very clean. They did big rinnovation this year so you can see that everything is new. Bathrooms are not very big but confortable enouth. All new mattresses!!! The rates are good as well, more that in the average. It is a very quiet place, no noise during the night and in the morning they serve you breakfast in the garden/terrace, very nice. I totally raccomand this hotel to every kind of traveller.
