Just got back from the Hotel Aloe. Had a nice enough stay there. Staff were very polite and friendly. The only reason to stick around the hotel during the day time was the pool. A nice, clean and quiet spot away from the hustle and bustle of Faliraki centre. Our apartment was small, but adequate, and was cleaned every day. We didn't bother with the hotel breakfast, especially after a night out with Faliraki's special cocktails!
The only complaints I have would be of a night or two listening to noisy neighbours or the odd drunken tourist arriving back late at night, but that's hardly the hotel's fault. One more thing, we had to pay 50 euros extra for the week for a room with air-conditioning. It was money well-spent!! Certainly not a bad hotel.

Just got back from the Aloe! The staff make you feel very welcome and were always pleasant! The rooms were basic but kept clean on a daily basis. Bed and breakfast was a no no as it was stale bread with a thin slice of ham and cheese and the choice of orange squash, tea or coffee every single day. Would strongly advise Thomas pub for a full english breakfast just down the road. The pool was always kept clean and was very quiet so it was like having it to yourself. One thing to watch out for if taking young children the owners kids can be a bit boisterous when playing and splashing in the pool. The location is good because its out of the main centre so is nice a quiet at night apart from guests that go out and come back in the early hours drunk. The beach is around a fifteen minute walk away along with the main bar street(clubs, pubs, main nightlife). I would certainly have no problem with stopping at the hotel again in the future.

The room was very basic but was clean when we arrived. We were then only cleaned once more during a weeks holiday. The shower didnt hang from the wall so was an issue when washing one handed. Also, they didnt change our bathroom bulb all week even though we asked several times. Quite difficult to go to the loo at night therefore. The girls next to us were groped by the late night porter and also had someone appearing at their balcony doors. The girls next to them had all their money stolen from their room. The pool is quite good because it is so quiet. Location is about 20 minute walk from bar street on a very quiet part of town. This could be a good or bad thing as bar street is a dump. Faliraki isnt really suitable for anybody other than 18-30 holidayers who are constantly drunk.

This was the worst hotel i have ever stayed in. The place was extremely run down and need a good clean. The pool on the other hand was small but very clean, probably because it was no. The safes are located at the front of the reception, made of thin sheet metal, also there rumours going round (confirmed by our holiday rep) that the keys were able to unlock a number of draws. Don't waste your time going for breakfast at the hotel its just stale bread and ham.
