day trips go on as many excursions as possible. But if you want the same thing for much cheaper and you dont mind not having your rep with you then go to travel agents by the big JASONS restaurant and you will get day trips much cheaper to the same places. or go straight to the mandraki harbour and you can choose the boat and ticket price there.

Restaurant Alexandra Just round the corner from the Alexia, this place does Greek and Italian dishes with a twist - a refreshing change from the more usual tourist eateries. The baklava is to die for :)

Book at Ixia check out prices at the Capsis Hotel. It's Half-Board, and Ixia is only 4 km outside of Rhodes town, with a good bus service. A taxi would cost about 4.5 euros. Plus it has 3 pools.
