Burlington *Nightlife* If you're the type that likes to check out the nightlife, I suggest hitting the downtown district (just take Brant St. towards Lk Ontario). Depending on what you want, there's a place called Joe Doggs, which has 2 levels-a band on weekends on the ground level & in the downstairs is more of the club scene. There are some pubs, The Black Bull, Ye Olde Squire (this isn't a bad place to grab a quiet pint & catch a game or something), and a few other places, such as Emma's on the Waterfront. If you're the type that likes some 'adult entertainment', on E Plains Rd there's a club called 'Solid Gold', which is decent, so don't believe the internet negativity. *Attractions, etc* The Bruce Trail is located in Hamilton, which is about 20 min away. Very nice; you don't have to be an expert hiker to enjoy it & there are some waterfalls that you can see (locations are listed on the City of Burlington website). Aside from that, the waterfront of course is a nice time with good foo.
