Perfect hotel with the best location & kindness

My best friend and I arrived at Panormos the first week in June, finding a simple but extremely clean and cozy hotelroom. We had a spacious, open balcony overlooking the street downstairs and allowing us to view the beach and giving us sun 10 hours a day. The owner of the hotel, an extremely cute and friendly old woman spoke gladly to us in good english and offered to help and advise us during our vacation. We did not get any meals at our hotel, to our relief actually because this allowed us to enjoy the ability of eating out and exploring. Neither were there cooking facilites available in our room, but there was china and a water-cooker for use. The kitchenette was not something we longed for in the first place therefore we did not notice its absence. We had cleaning 6 days a week which left our room dazzling though it seemed our mess was impossible to get rid of ourselves. We got no complaints over our party-behavior 10 out of 14 days during out stay; we recieved happy greetings each morning and welcoming looks. The lack of air conditioning was a minor "problem" we encountered during our stay but we found ways to deal with it. Having the balcony door open during the night easened our sleep, and as we are both young we found no trouble sleeping because of the heat. To conclude, our stay at Panormos gave us an excellent impression of Greek hospitality and good intentions to make vacationers enjoy their trip despite age.

Simple but clean central hotel

We lived in a double room with a balcony, and we are soo pleased. It was a simple hotel, but the staff was nice, the location good and we never found any unwanted guests (like ants). The beach was 20 mtrs away, and the city center 150 mtrs away. It didn´t have any aircondition or even a fan in the cieling, which would be nice during the hotter season, but we had the ability to cook some water and had a fridge. Cleaning 6 days/week. Most of all Naxos is a beautiful place to be, and you will spend most of the time outside!:-)
