This is a great place. We went at the end of May 2006 with our toddler aged 15 months and our daughter, five and a half. We stayed in a triple room with a baby cot. The hotel is located almost equidistant between Korfos and Ornos. Because we visited with 2 children under the age of 6, we didn't get a chance to look at the gym or sauna. The swimming pool was a good size and there is a play area for children, with a climbing frame, slide and two of those bouncy rides. Maria and Yanni do a great job of making everyone feel welcome. The Yiannaki is a Mykonian family-run hotel that has been recently refurbished to a high standard. The lobby area is bright, stylish, cheerful, as is Mama Aleka's Restaurant. We thought it was superb for a restaurant right on our doorstep and had a very wide range of reasonably-priced food and drink. We liked the fact that the restaurant maintained several specifically Mykonian dishes such as the spicy cheese and the tasty Mykonian pie. (Mama Aleka makes her own pastry for this). The salads were terrific. The hotel is set in a well-irrigated area and many of the ingredients come fresh, straight from the garden a few yards away. We recommend it and look forward to returning. If you are looking for a true Mykonian hotel with personal service that chain hotels would envy, look no further.

My stay at the Yiannaki was ok. Dissapointed about not being in the town, or near a beach with much of an atmosphere. To get anywhere required buses which were infrequent and never on time. You pay top dollar for the privilage of a swimming pool, gym etc which is quite defeatist when one remembers where they are and how much Mykonos has to offer. I would have rather stayed somewhere cheaper and more Greek authentic!
