Top Local Tips for Mykonos

Spectacular scenery I think it's better to go not in the peak season, to avoid big crowds. The prices are also more reasonable in June, early July and September. The sea is not the warmest in Greece but the crystal-clear water and the scenery is so spectacular that you will never ever forget it! The wind can get high at times in Mykonos but Platis Gialos is sheltered enough to enjoy the sea all the time. There is brilliant sunshine all day long, the colors of the beach are just amazing!

Mussaka Eat lots of it - its beautiful if you get the right restuarant.

great clubs the clubs are exactly what you read about - great, fun, filled with the rich, young, eurpoeans, but the drinks are expensive. Be savvy - pick up your drinks before you get into a club at a fraction of the price.
