Top Local Tips for Loutraki
Loutraki is nice, but after going to the islands were were disapointed We visited our Greek American friends there, after going to Milos. It is a nice place with good food, nightlife and casino. Lake Vouligameni near there is extraordinary with great swimming. However, the beach is just ok, and depending on the wind there can be trash coming in from the gulf. The heat wave while we were there also put a damper on things. Don't get me wrong, it was very affordable and far from a tourist rap. I think we were the only Americans there. Every Greek person we met before going there knew it and said it was nice. But coming all the way from the states to country where there must be thousands of amazing places to visit made us feel like we should have gone someplace else. Unless you really like the casino or have friends there like we did, I'd recommend other places first.

The hotel is a hidden gem. Although not very attractive from outside the rooms are excellent and the decorations very tasteful. They even had powershower units which my wife loved and safety boxes. You could not ask for anything more!!! Breakfast was also excellent. All that for a price of less than 50 Euros-absolute bargain. We have booked for our next visit too! Dont tell anyone!
