I had last stayed at the Akti Myrina 18 years ago, when it was a luxury resort-when the food offered was not just the same cold buffet that one would find each and every day now.

I was repeatedly lied to by both front desk staff that the deficiencies which led to my falling in the bath would be rectified and lied that the manager would be on staff when later upon appointed time told by same "She doesn't come in on Sundays". I was not permitted to check out because "we have no place to put the money' and 'I can't make change' and "I can't give you a receipt if you are paying by credit card'...the front desk manager was told of everything and never so much as said "Im sorry".

I work in the hospitality industry and was dissuaded by staff to partake in their activities offered to their Italian clientele because I was English speaking.

There are so many other properties to choose from on the island-its sad to not even offer a simple apology.
