Have travelled to Lesvos 8 times, and each time I have stayed at the Sandy Bay Hotel in Plomari. The atmosphere is relaxed and offers something for everyone, from families to couples, to single people just wanting to get away from everything. Rooms have recently been upgraded, and the hotel though not luxurious, still offers the best value for money accomodation I have encountered. Sandy Bay Hotel offers daily excursion trips by boat a well as Car Hire, and the owners Maria and Pantelis Kaknis are always at hand with sound advice and a careful watch over the needs of their guests. Definitely can recommend Sandy Bay Hotel for a long and leisurely stay.
