Unfortunately even though I read the reviews I made the mistake on booking this hotel. The previous reviews are true, the hotel is impressive, no doubt about that, but that's were it ends as the people running it have no idea what they're doing. If you like taking cold showers, towels that are good only for pigs and rooms with mildew smells that aren't cleaned well, then this is place for you! 8 nights there and our sheets weren't changed even once. The bloody mosquitoes that were swatted on the walls should have been the sign to just walk out. If you've booked as an "All Inclusive" then be prepared to battle for food that is unacceptable for a 4star hotel and all the drinks are watered down. The 'snacks' are basically paper thin cut slices of something that couldn't even be called as cake. I do have to say that most of the employees were good and are trying to do their best for the guests, but its a lost battle. Hopefully I'll have saved at least one person from making my mistake

Our family of five, of which three under 6 year-olds, had booked a double-room suite at the Olympian bay based on the info from the website and the info given by the hotel staff when doing reservation. When we reached there, the first impressions were highly positive -- very nice reception area, albeit the presence of only one front desk employee considering the high season and therefore the line to get to talk to her in the midst of phone calls and quick enquiries by other visitors. The lobby of the building where are rooms where was impeccably screaming of 4 stars -- marble floors, beautiful furnishings etc. The elevator was brand new, too. Yet, when its doors opened welcoming us to the fourth floor we found ourselves in a setting from the 80s, old moquets (thin, dusty and with scratched edges) glued directly onto the concrete, rotten-of-humidity walls, old furniture in the rooms and a tiny suqare shower place insteasd of a promised bath-tub (the website claims all the rooms have a bath-tub) with the tiniest shower-head I've ever seen (consider I grew up in the Soviets!). When trying the bed, the mattress sunk me onto the wooden bed floor. It was a quality of a 2-star hotel and as such it did not deserve the 170Euros nightly we'd be wasting on lying ourselves. Oh, yeah, there is no room service in case you want to have a calm family breakfast in your room. In addition, stray dogs where no strangers to the surroundings and when they stepped into the reception they got less cshew-cshews than my tired-from-the-4hour drive children who where observing the marble columns. The hotel was a great example of Greekt mythology - everything that shines is not made of gold. What happenned next? - we left the hotel, did not find available rooms in other hotels and drove to stay in Thessaloniki in a truly 4-star hotel right next to the beach - Electra Palace hotel.
