We have just returned from a week at the Lefko Hotel. It was so lovely that it was hard to drag ourselves away from the hotel to go to the theme parks at all. Overall, I would say the hotel exceded our expectations and was conveniently located. It is up a side road so quiet but only minutes from the sea and the central harbours area. Stayed in a room which was spotless and cleaned daily. It was very hot in the high 30's and air conditioining was an extra 40 Euros for the week. Breakfast was ham, cheese, rolls, eggs, cornflakes, coffee and squash.
The pool was lovely with ample sun beds of a reasonable size and well maintained.,
It was so hot and busy in the resort that we generally stayed within the peace and tranquility of the hotel. Watersports, Ferries to nearby islands, buses to other resorts all within five mins. We did the seven Island on the Makedonian Princess for 20 Euros per person and went to Megassini Island for 2 Euros (each way on another day). Restaurants in Nidri are numerous and varied from quick food - Burgers, Crepes, to Lobster served on the sea front. Be careful when walking along the main road the traffic gives way to no one.
