Height of summer - busy or end of season - quiet At the hight of the summer season Lefkas in general is busy with German and Britsh surfers, as the beaches are a surfers paradise, with the weather glorious. At the end of the summer season End of Sept/early Oct the weather can be unpredictable, but still very warm, and warm enough to swim in the sea. Expect earth tremors, and if it rains, it realy rains! If you experience thunder and lightening, it is magnificent, but prolonged, not as we experience at home!The beaches are magnificent, if you search around the island.
