We have just returned from a most enjoyable holiday in Kos staying in the Smaragdi hotel in which all staff from reception, domestic cleaners bar staff and night staff were the best I have come across in any holiday I have had to date.
The apartments were spotless the pool cleaned every evening and completely emtied and refille devery two to three weeks.
My kids aged 13 and 11 had a great time as had my wife and I.
The food was very good at poolside and always served with a smiling face. We hope to go back at some stage.

This place is ideal if you are planning to visit Kos, it's cheaper than the hotels in the centre of Kos, and on the beaches, and the hotel is family run by some of the nicest people you could hope to meet. Yes, it's a 20 minute walk into Kos town at least, but it's a pleasant walk, along either the golden beach of Lambi or the great shops on the main road into Kos. The atmosphere in the hotel is great, seems as if every guest is from the UK, which is good for morale! You'll find comfortable, very clean rooms, and a lot of fun, for a very reasonable price!
