The hotel was amazing - wonderful setting, surrounded by the gorgeous mountains and coastline (further down), pool was beautiful, excellent and polite service from staff, rooms were basic but clean and regularly cleaned. Only downside perhaps was the distance away from Kardamena town (being a nightlife person myself!!) - there is a free hotel bus service but it only goes from the hotel 8pm, 9pm and then 11.30pm. The last service in the day is 1pm so if you want to pop in to town between 1-8 you have to get a taxi. Food was okay but gets a bit boring after a while - edible and filling though!!! Excellent hotel!

Kos is absolutly fantastic. It has a lot of great sites to see and a beautiful beach. The service is great, especially if you go all inclusive!!!!!!!!

Mosquitoes and Burberry

Holiday was sold to us as four star, I have since discovered the hotel's official rating is three star which is much more appropriate. The standard of the room is very basic and the decor uninviting and gloomy. The bathroom was adequate, but the shower really needs tearing out and a new one installing (water all over the floor every time) The hotel is too far away from the town to walk so you have to rely on the bus service which is good but tends to give you too long in the resort. Car hire is cheap and essential if you want to see the island. The beach is shingly and there a big algae covered boulders in the sea which are very slippery and dangerous. We saw a few people slip as did my husband. There are much nicer beaches on Kos but again you need a car to reach them. The hotel attracts big family partiea and couples of all ages. Lots of Burberry, tattoos and flags of St. George in evidence amongst the guests. Mozzies rule; the wall in our room was decorated with their squashed little bodies, so repellant is a must. If you forget it, they sell it everywhere in Kos. Don't think we'd go there again and if we did, we'd opt for five star. After all you expect a bit of comfort on holiday not something like a downmarket youth hostel.
