Top Local Tips for Kos

Askiplion I recommend a trip to the ancient site of Askiplion, 4km south west of Kos town. The ruins consist of a healing centre which followed the teachings of Hippocrates, temples and Roman baths set on three destinct levels. There are regular buses and a vehicular train from the town centre. It is also a pleasant cycle or walk.

nissyross trip The trip to nissyross volcano is awesome, you can walk on the crater but wear some sturdy shoes as flip flops will melt, the bus trip up there is very scary .
