We boarded the plane, a feeling of excitement and the effect of 5 gin and tonics coursed through my veins. 5 hours later and a raging sweat, we arrived in the Giakilis. The guy who greeted us would have done well to flash us a look of his pearls but it wasn't to be. We weren't particularly concerned with the staff however as we went straight to our rooms and, bearing in mind we arrived at 5 in the morning, had successfully polished of 10 beers and a bottle of gin. We arose at 10am, rather worse for wear and went downstairs where Wilson, one of our room buddies, went mental at a family who he claimed where giving him a bogus journey. basic hassle ensued, though fortunately myself and Oscar managed to tame this raging bull 'Wilson the wailer', basic math, the time spent at Giakalis was top notch, though minor departures from reality (alcohol)and several disturbances with party members, we managed to enjoy our time. We came to the conclusion that Giakilis is much like an orange, a hard outer skin but the flesh was meaty, lots of tat and thrift.
