My husband and I have been to this hotel twice and are now going again in October this year. Can't wait. Irene on reception is wonderful, will do anything to make our stay perfect. We love the clean hotel, the food and the lovely walk into Kos town each night. The entertainment is fun too.

Just come back from a 10 day holiday with the family,having 2 boys aged 10&15.I read the reviews on here to make up my mind about the place but you never know for sure,one persons review isn't the same as anothers.Before i give the good points there are just 2 points i was not happy with.These are that i booked what was supposed to be a family room but all it was was a 2 bed room with a bunk be stuffed in 1 corner.Paying full adult price for my eldest son and him basically being an adult the bunk beds were far from ideal for him. He was too big for the bunk beds with his feet hanging off the bed,and with the beds in the room it made it so small you would keep hitting into furniture.The other bad point was air conditioning or lack of it.This should be alot bettter for a hotel of this nature and size but was always lacking in effectiveness.Bad points over and on the hole the hotel is really rather good and makes up for the 1 or 2 niggles you may find. The staff are an absolute credit with working extremely long hours in blistering heat and always a smile on there face and can not do enough for you. All areas are well maintained and kept very clean,with comfortable seating around.Pool is a great size but still the problems of getting your towel out at the break of morning to get sun beds. I would recommend this hotel and go there again myself as it has a great location and very close to the beach,a bus ride from the busy centre of kos town.Food in the restuarant was always fresh and plentyful and Friday evenigs food was cooked outside on the barbeque near to the pool. All in all a really good relaxing holiday with friendly atmosphere and fantastic people.

Can't wait to return

This was our third visit to the Continental Palace. We enjoyed our stay immensely and although unable to go in 2006, will definately return in 2007. The hotel is immaculately clean, the staff very welcoming and friendly. The rooms are second to none. We have made some very good friends. The hotel is quiet and a short walk from Old Kos Town which is wonderful. Evening walks are very enjoyable (providing you watch for cyclists).

This was our 2nd visit to the Continental Palace and we have just booked to return in July 2006. Irene on reception is like a second mother to our daughter and her friend. We were welcomed like family members last year and we don't think this year will be any different. The rooms are spacious, very clean and fresh. The staff treat all guests like royalty and the variety of food is well cooked and presented, plentiful and very tasty. No need to hail a taxi to go into nearby Kos Town because reception will telephone for one to pick you up at the door (no extra charge!) Babis, in the bar, is an Elvis wannabe and guaranteed to give you a memorable holiday. We have travelled around all the Greek islands over the last 18 years and this hotel has to be the best yet. Highly recommended.
