Just returned from the Aslanis and we had a great time.
Had read some reviews before we went and i want to set the record straight ( obviously , some people either want 5 star luxury for a bargain price or they should stay at home in boredom by the sea or wherever if they want the full english experience!!!)
The rooms were clean and serviced regularly to a high standard.
The staff were very friendly and polite , particularly if you made the effort to say thank you in greek.
The hotel has good amenities ( a go kart track - no noise - within easy walking distance with a very modern bar and huge screen telly) it has a clean pool that is NOT excessively cold , a very good snack bar that is reasonably priced and the food is well presented ( steaks etc plus a small selection of greek food as well as the full english that seems to be served everywhere to us predictable brits!).
A bus stop is within walking distance and the hotel also rents cars , scooters and bicycles and Lisa or Anastacia will also call a taxi if necessary.
Yes , there are mosquitoes and other insects there as well as a few frogs but lets bear in mind that this is a hot country and the hotel is in a rural setting.
I used Autan and didnt get a single bite in 2 weeks ( other people did though , but hey , you can get those working in your garden in england).
I looked for this so called sess pit but all i could find was a drainage/ irrigation ditch and a few local livestock so you do get a few natural smells occasionally.
There is a supermarket within about 15 mins walking distance and a salt flats area about half a mile up the ropad ( worth a visit as there is a fantastic bumpy dirt track that is great fun if you rent a dune buggy or a quad from the myriad of local rental companies)
All in all , a very good holiday for reasonable money if you can stand to be away from england and you can put up with the worst airport i have come across so far.
Have fun and give them a try !
lisa, billy and anastasia were really realy friendly

Lisa, Billy and Anastasia were really friendly my daughter gave them her own stereo to say thank you for a great holiday. The only bad thing about the holiday was we never saw the rep we monly saw her once when we went to the welcome meeting she told us just about trips and not where the nearest chemest, doctor, hospital was or anything like that.

Have just had a week at the Aslanis, with my wife. We were allocation on arrival so were a bit shocked to find that we were in the middle of nowhere. Saying that, after we found our bearings, it wasn't so bad. Guests very friendly and met some lovely people. Staff very friendly, food not too bad. Apartments were clean with regular towel and linen changes. Tony, the
barman/nightporter, was very entertaining. Taxi to Tigaki was 6 euros. (5 minutes). Many nice restaurants and bars in Tigaki. Not sure if we would go back to Aslanis but did enjoy the week.
