Traditional pension rather than hotel, the oldest hotel in Skala apparently. Basic accommodation, very clean, typical small bathroom. The family room had two singles and one double bed, yet was still spacious, with a fridge. We had free air con, but have heard they now charge for it. The balcony was large, but we were at the back of the hotel so the view was limited to the taverna kitchen, and the mountains where we watched the forest fire. Liked it so much we are going again this year. A good budget hotel, for those who love the real Greece.

Basic, clean and spacious. Good value, centrally located, can walk everywhere, beach, pools, shops tavernas within 5 minutes. Best for those who like the real Greece, comfort, not luxury. Friendly owners, typical Greek breakfast. Went in August 2004, going back August 2005. Skala is one of the best places I have ever visited.
