Have stayed here several times now, and enjoyed it every time, Hotel is quiet and very clean long walk to town but hey thats why we like it. Breakfast basic but fine, swimming pools are great and in great surroundings. Staff are very helpful and Nina on reception is very friendly speaks excellent English and is great if you want to know anything.

We have been to this hotel 9 times and have always been happy with the service etc. Would recommend to older people wanting a relaxing holiday.

Got married in Sami and stayed at the Pericles. The Hotel and Thomas Cook staff were absolutely fantastic and made it a very memorable stay.

Top Local Tips for Kefalonia

July heat Be warned if you do go in July it is very warm. it does make you very sleepy and i suggest siestas!!

Try them all Some tavernas look quiet and uninteresting from the outside, go in and have a look, you will be pleasantly surprised at what is on offer. The food is alway fresh and well presented.

Car Rental Don't go for the 'special offers' pushed by the reps - car hire is far cheaper either booking ahead online having a look around for best deals or by hiring in resort without the assistance of the rep. Our car hire was less than half the price of that offered by rep for a much better car.
