We arrived in Kefalonia and unfortunately our 1st accommodation was appalling we moved to this hotel and had the best holiday ever. The staff were extremely helpful the hotel surroundings were fantastic and the cleanliness was 100%. The hotel had been recetly upgraded and was not 100% complete in some small areas but overall it was brilliant. I would highly recommend this accommodation. The management were also fantstic. It was brilliant.

My husband found all the steps between pool and our hotel room very tiring especially as it was 80 degress every day for 7 days. The hotel position was about 2 km from Scala but we found the hotel mini-bus very useful and frequent, but this does not run on a Sunday. The staff were very pleasant and informative, the accommodation very clean. The restaurant offered a very wide range of breakfast dishes, hot and cold and eggs cooked on a griddle in front of you. Evening meals were also very good with a wide variety to suit all tastes. Swimming pool was very clean, but lunch was not available at the pool during the first 4 days of our holiday and was served in the dining room, a steep climb up from the pool. Definitely not a hotel for people who may have walking difficulties. Harry the bar manager was also very pleasant and fun to talk to. A very peaceful location, lovely views and very good value for money. We travelled independently and we were not disappointed with our choice......

We went to the Louis Apostolata in July 2006.there was 4 of us that went. Two adults and two children. We liked it the holiday rep 'Petra' was very informative. We thought the price that we got for the holiday was excellent. The setting was peaceful with a gorgeous view of the sea when you were in the pool. In the villa that we stayed in was perfect with a personal sun deck. It was a great time as it was the first time we had been to Greece and didn’t know what to expect but we were very pleased. There was only one thing which was it was a bit further out from Scala than we would of liked but it was ok if you had a car. So all in all it was a good holiday and a good place to take children as they do lots of children water sports which entertained the children and adults.

As a seasoned traveller in the Greek Islands this did not disappoint. Food was lovely, staff were very helpful and friendly, and the setting is really peaceful and picturesque. It is a little far away from Skala itself, and sadly has not beach access. This would not stop me staying there again though. To sit out on the terrace in the evenings listening to the owls and the crickets is just heavenly.

We stayed here for just 8 days because it was our first time in Greece.
I think that the most of the working people did their best, but I didn’t like the fake friendliness from the manager. The island is beautiful; the food was enough, but next time some more Greek dishes please. The chips where very bad. The girl from the animation did really the best she could, and the barman, Kristos, is very friendly, I actually don’t have complains, but I can give the hotel some advise to make it worth a 10 and I shall do so. And this really shouldn’t cost a lot. (Maybe a free holiday for my advice!)
One last thing: people who are complaining about the stairs (because there are a few, wake up and be realistic you are at the top of a hill, how should you go downstairs otherwise?? Paragliding maybe? So please complain about some real things
