Nice clean hotel

Visited the Hotel Lorenzo in September of this year along with my partner and her mother. All three of us was very pleased with the clean and lovely surrounding of this hotel, linen and towels were changed on a regular basis and the staff were very friendly. Would definitely go back to the Lorenzo.

Just returned from a 2 week stay at the Lorenzo. the hotel is a lovely hotel, the rooms although basic are adequate and the maid service is excellent. We had clean towels every day. The breakfast is "continental" so its cereal, toast, boiled eggs, cheese & ham and you have the option eating in the dining room or taking the tray to your room. We stayed in room 209 which is on the second floor on the corner of the front of the hotel and the balcony went all the way round to the sea view at the back - the only draw back was that it could get quite windy and during the night the wind whistled round the corner. The hotel is spotless and the staff are very friendly except that is for the young girl hwo served in the cocktail bar who was really quite miserable and insisted on playing what could only be described as "HOUSE MUSIC" most of the night, bearing in mind the average age of the guests must have been 50 and the fact that she refused to change the music when asked it was the only downside of the hotel and it meant that after a few days smost of the guests avoided the cocktail bar preferring to stay in one of the surrounding bars. Hope this review helps. Lassi is a very nice quite resort and is ideal for a relaxing holiday.

We have just got back from our holiday in this hotel... firstly I would like to say the hotel was very clean and the staff were freindly, however we were not given any information about the hotel. For example, breakfast times, room vacation time, evacuation if there was a fire or any entertainment at the hotel... we relied on previous guests and it was all done by word and mouth. On the last day of our stay another guest told us we had to be out of our room by 10am... we asked at reception this was correct and she told us that we could get towels for a shower from the pool for a 5 euro deposit, if we had known this facility was available we would have used it throughout the holiday. The best thing about the holiday was the location, weather, lovely beaches and sights... we will definitely go back to Kefalonia again.

Just come back from staying at the Lorenzo hotel, been twice but things haven’t change from are first visit, the staff were friendly and the rooms were cleaned every day, breakfast was okay ham cheese bread honey yogurt orange juice cereal tea / coffee and sometimes hard boiled eggs etc, but the noise is terrible all you here in a morning and night is the doors slamming, every one we spoke to who haven’t been before said the same thing, and when the rep asked if we enjoyed are hols and I told him about the noise he just said next time you come go to some where quieter so I don’t think this door slamming will ever stop. Overall great holiday and food if you go try Monte Nero food excellent and so is the Phaedra.

The hotel was nice the rooms are a bit basic , The staff are very friendly, Breakfast is not that great,, nice pool and food at pool bar good nice egg and chips. The only downside is the noise from the other rooms with doors slamming and scrapping of chairs ,, Entertainment in the bar is rubbish.... Lovely island and the beaches are very nice ...

From reading these reviews I am shocked that nobody has mentioned the noise in the hotel!! By far the noisest place I have ever stayed!!! You would think they would have heard of rubber stoppers or something on the doors but no....they slam constantly from 7 in the morning until about 10am, then again from about 10 at night til about 3 am. Some so loud they give you a shock. Plus the walls are paper thin so be prepared to hear the constant screech of chairs! Oh, and the staff getting the breakfasts ready in the morning! This is is throughout the hotel...we even tried changing rooms. So despite its excellent location I wouldn't recommend this hotel if you want sleep, clean towels and clean bedsheets! (only changed every 3 days!!)

We have just returned from a great holiday to Lassi. The hotel was lovely, the staff excellent, helpful where possible, what more can you ask for? Perfect for a relaxing holiday by the pool/ beach, not for the 5-star room service/butler seeker but excellent for the person who wants peace and quiet and some sunshine. Seriously though, if you had a problem, the staff would help where possible but if they have no rooms to move you to, what do you expect?

Stayed at the Lorenzo hotel for two weeks at end of Sept and had a fatastic time! Excellent location, friendly staff, good breakfast, fantastic pool etc. It is a basic hotel however the other ammenities make up for this! Can walk almost anywhere from the hotel or bus stop is right outside! Very peaceful, quiet and relaxing! Right near some of the best beaches iv seen! Would definately go back! Some excellent tarvernas and restaurants all within 3 min walk!

The hotel was lovley, the staff where superb. The area was great close to the bars and resturants. A beautiful island would go again.

Excellent hotel in prime location. Walkable to a host of beaches plus a good hotel pool (shame about the towels left on the sunloungers all fortnight, even in a storm!). Very friendly staff and service. Recommend ouzo and cold white wine in reception bar plus sambucca in pool bar. Not sure about musical turns! Several good restautants on Lassi high street, many of which we re-visited in a fortnight stay (typical evening meal cost of €50 for 4 of us, including litre of house plonk). In short, excellent value.
