captains is perfect hotel for your summer holidays.is centrally located and is very clean.vangelis family that run the hotel is very friendly.we go almost every year and we feel like part of family. skala is little village which recently become resort but dont lost the charming greek feeling of hospitality.

this hotel is typically basic but is very good decorated,the stuff is the frendliest that i have ever meet and you can ask every info about the resort and the island that you want.is very good located and very clean.the resort is great because have the character of village yet.the beach is super and defently you will have perfect holidays.

We have been for holiday in Captains House Hotel, it was an excellent holiday. The hotel staff are friendly and efficient and the hotel itself is clean and well designed. Overall a fantastic holiday - good hotel, staff, weather and service. We thoroughly recommend Captain House Hotel in general .the bar opposite is the only pace to be in skala.great cocktails and great fun.skala is my favourite resort. I fell in love with immediately and would visit over and over again.

This is by far one of Kefalonia's best hotel, if it's high standards you want, then you'll get it. Superb service in addition to clean and friendly enviorment. A must stay in Kefalonia in Captains House Hotel.

Very Friendly Staff

The Captains was one of the best short holidays we have had in Greece, the staff were friendly, accessible and very efficient. the rooms were tidy and cleaned every day, evenings were great as access to the resort was very near and good restaurants near to hand, the best part was the bar opposite were Monica’s cocktails take some beating with Toina and Andreas working like trojans to keep everybody served. The only drawback was the breakfasts which were limited in type and quantity.

The Perfect Holiday!!

My first visit to Skala and can't wait to go back again. Hotel very nice, clean and comfortable, and great sea view. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Perfect location, with the beach across the road, and restaurants and taverners just round the corner. Very relaxed and laid back holiday and definitely will be returning.

A very nice and clean hotel. The owners is very friendly and you can ask anything that you want. Skala is the best resort that I have been for holidays.

Beautiful Skala

Just returned from Skala, Kefalonia and what a beautiful, relaxed and calming place! Hotel was clean with an adequate breakfast, friendly staff and Chris and Jacky were excellent Thomson reps. Plenty of places to eat and enjoy the atmosphere of this quiet and charming island. 'Discover Kefalonia' trip was an excellent introduction and our tour guide Afriditi was very knowledgeable. Would have benefited from a fridge in our room for cooling water as it tended to disappear from the communal one on the landing. Lovely holiday; which we'd stayed for two weeks!

Lovely Holiday

Just returned from Skala (20-27th Oct 05) had a lovely holiday, hotel really clean, staff made us very welcome and really really enjoyed it in the captains bar at night. The weather was lovely n warm too. Went on the discover Kefallinia tour what a fab day we had, the views were breathtaking. We will be returning here for definitely. WHAT A LOVELY HOLIDAY

A very nice clean hotel. we had a fridge in our room.The owners were very pleasant and always said good morning. I consider it a good place to stay.
