despite being close to the airport (very few planes, you hardly notice) we had a lovely stress free stay. Great pool, very friendly and helpful staff. Costa taught us alot about the island. In august we found the nearby beaches a bit full, but if you dont mind hiring a car (we did for a day) the island is amazing and there's plenty to see. The rooms here were clean and the hotel itself has a great view.

This place has got relaxed down to a fine art. Nice rooms, informal atmosphere, good pool and a choice of beautiful beaches just a stroll away. Many thanks to all the staff who gave us such a good time. We'd love to go again.

It was a lovely hotel, very close to the Airport, the planes were a bit loud but on the whole didn't bother me that much as the view more than compensated.
The food was also excellent when we had dinner at the hotel on a few occasions.
The pool was a good extra too, enjoyed that very much when you don't feel like walking to the beaches. The best beach was Ai Helis beach about twenty minutes walk, lovely beach and great staff there too. The food was lovely at all the tavernas close by and crazy Georges bar close by is a must!
Great for those who want a quiet holiday with no fuss. Great area for relaxing.

Gorgeous beaches within walking distance. The close proximity of the airport was not a problem at all. All of the staff were very friendly and trusting. We were there on our honeymoon and will definatley return soon - fantastic!

We had the most incredible relaxing holiday at this hotel. Only a few mins from the airport but this isn't a problem as its a really quiet island. Some great tavernas near by and a nice short stroll to the beach. Staff are really friendly and were on first name terms after a couple of days! can't wait to go back!!

Top Local Tips for Kefalonia

car hire Greekstones were a great reliable car hire company, they will drop the car off at the airport for you. We had the car for 3 days which was ideal

Local restuarants. There is always plenty of choice at the restaurants. Local wine is excellent and reletively cheap. Bread is always provided so think before ordering a starter as these can be a meal in themselves. We were informed by a local resident to purchase several different starters and no main meal. We did not however try this idea.

Hire a car The hotel is 5 minutes from airport, so if you dont hire a car, dont pay a huge transfer fee. Get a taxi outside airport
