we had a fantastic stay at Vergina on our first trip to Karpathos.
the staff was incredibly helpfull with everything.
the rooms were cleaned every day.
i have nothing negative to say about this place, and we will visit this hotel again.

very large rooms and open spaces. close enough to the center of town, without the noise. beautiful pool, and great for the kiddies!

Nice room size, but generally many problems.
When we arrived, the room was not ready.
Beds were single and not dobble and hard as a rock. Towels were disgusting and like sandpaper. Sheets had stains.
Aircondition available only by a fee.
No TV.
No Iron.
No hairdryer.
Showerhead was broken, sink broken, toilet having a hard time flushing. The "kitchen" was not suited for making food.
Hotel is located close to the city and the beach, however there is a small mountain you have to climb to get back to the hotel.
On the positive side, the pool was nice and there seemed to be enough free pool chairs.
In general, this was what I would have expected from a hostel NOT at hotel.
