Karpathos amazing: but avoiding Hotel Regina

We enjoyed the Greek hospitality of the owners and we hope to return there with more friends. Most of the people we met there had gone three and more times. We tasted very nice snacks at the pool snackbar and we surfed in internet from any place in the hotel(rooms, poolview etc) a very important thing for us. Lovely sea view from the upper floors and special quiet room the #22 with sea and also poolview. We recommend to anyone.

But avoid Regina Hotel in Pigadia if you want to breath the Greece.
Regina is in the Pigadia centre, far from the sea, on a very noisly narrow street and the young Karpathian like very much tuning their car.
The hotel is managed by people that are not cordial, friendly as expected about grecian people.
Consider, when we understand the hotel is not for us and we decided to move to another, the manager would apply us a 50% overcharge for every night he lose. But at the end cordially and friendly he applied us only 30%. It's first time in my life!!! (and i travel a lot).
