This is a ten room hotel with a staff of 2-3 people including the owner. He is the most helpful and friendly hotel manager I have ever encountered. Practical one room apt with basic kitchen equipment. Impeccably clean. It is situated in a quiet corner of Pigadia, two (steep) blocks from supermarket/bakery and three blocks from restaurants), 600m from bus station. The beach is on the opposite side of town, but you'll want to take a bus to other towns, or rent a scooter or car to get to the best beaches, anyway. If you want a noisy, impersonal party hotel near the beach, go for it, but my pregnant wife and I had a most wonderful week at Epiphany, and would request the same place again should we go to Karpathos in the future.
