If you like the beach try Stoupa instead of Kardamili People in Kardamili say - why do you want to go to Stoupa? When you get there you realise why. Stoupa has a lovely sandy beach and a promenade with tavernas, bars and shops all along it. Once you have been you won't want to go back to Kardamili! It has more life than Kardamili. At the end of the beach there is a taverna called Akrogiali. It overhangs the beach and has very pleasant staff and a good menu choice. There were pedallos on the beach but no boat trips (this was May 10th to 17th 2009). The beach at Kardamili is just large stones and rocks with little there although the view of the sea is lovely.
