Have just returned from 2 weeks at Kantouni Beach hotel. What can I say. It was wonderful. We were made so welcome by all the staff especially Themis amd Maneo and Nikita who could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable. Did not want to come home. Beautiful location on the beach. Apartments are basic but clean especially beds and towels. We stayed at the end of the season so was quieter than usual (which we prefer as we are boring!!!!) ha ha, but still had great time with Greek night, barbecue etc. You can enjoy a very peaceful location if you prefer ,or join in with others if you want to. The sunsets are fantastic. Cannot fault. Would stay forever if we could. Only downfall was going with Kosmar which was awful. Would not recommmend Kosmar. On saying that I can not fault Anna the Rep who was at Kalymnos even though Kosmar told her she no longer had a job there half way through our holiday. She went out of her way to help us. They have now withdrawn from Kalymnos which is a shame if you prefer to go on a package but please please go independently. It is so easy. Travel either on Wednesday day flights (better option) or sat night flight. to Kos. Taxi(very cheap to Mastihari harbour about 10mins from airport. Get on ferry to Pothia.So easy and costs about 4 euros. Get a taxi from Pothia harbour to Kantouni beach only about 5 euros. Everyone is so helpful everywhere.
Would highly highly recommend Kantouni Beach Hotel PLEASE go and see for yourselves
