Unfriendly
We were very disappointed with the attitude of the owners. They were unfriendly with poor customer service and on occasions down right rude. The breakfast consists of 6 pieces or bread, jam and butter, a glass of diluted orange and one drink unless of course you are brave enough to request a 2nd cup of team/coffee. Realize this is basic, but cereal was on the counter but not for us! The hotel is in a prime position and we were fortunate to have a second floor front sea facing room. The room was basic Greek which isn't a problem as the resort and location of the hotel is perfect. We absolutely love Greece so we were very surprised at the poor service we received. There was one lady who smiled all the time though and she was the cleaner.

Unfriendly hotel
Finikounda is the best Greek resort we have visited for many years, having stayed on 25 different islands and at 3 mainland places since 1981, and we thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. However, the enjoyment only started each day when we got away from the hotel (which we chose because of the guarantee of a higher than ground floor.) The Korakakis Beach is a one star establishment and so we didn't expect anything special but we certainly did not bargain for the unfriendliest people we have ever met in Greece. It started when we arrived, with the receptionist silently handing out keys to everybody checking in. No friendly welcome there! Wonderful Service
We(Mom and 2kids in their 20s) arrived very late(the town was asleep)and the hotel staff, after waking them up, was so kind and accomodating. Hotel is very clean, great staff, the beach is right out your window and across the little road. This is in a wonderful small town with good food and shops. All of this for a great price, it doesn't get any better. I hope to be back there next year.
