A Delightful Surprise
We had the most relaxing time on any holiday ever. The gardens, like an Eden were lush, pleasant to walk in, delightful at night, beautifully maintained. Room was great away from the sun, which suited me though the toilet was a bit old fashioned but very clean. All of the Staff, inside and outside were exceptional, bright, friendly always,
Lots of entertainment all day and night. Everyone in our group even got a kiss goodbye on the bus leaving, from one of the entertainers. A girl I was glad to say, you can’t beat that, anywhere else in the world. We really savoured our meal times, even dining in a thunderstorm at an outside though protected table, this made our holiday, though it only happened once. Food was varied, always seemed to be able to suit all taste, which I enjoyed along with the wine which was very very reasonably priced.
We wandered around Evia Island and found the friendliest and most courteous and helpful people. Everywhere, the beach was spotless and great for relax...Read more

excellent
I think this is the best hotel I have stayed in in Greece. There is a wonderful atmosphere and the staff are fantastic.
I went expecting the food to be the usual boring fare but was pleasantly surprised. The wine in the dining room was very good and also a good price. The rooms are fully air conditioned at no extra cost, the sunbeds on the private beach are also free. The Palmariva have lovely gardens and plenty of entertainment day and evening.
It may not suit people who want a fantastic nightlife but the town of Eretria is a 4 euro taxi journey away.
I really recommend this hotel and if you hire a car you can see parts of the Island of Evia

Fabulous
Just returned from a short break (too short) at Palmariva Resort. We flew Air Scotland and it was very basic but we arrived on time. This is the most amazing resort. The food is fabulous; the entertainment program left is all in stitches. From the dancing on the beach in the morning to the disco at night. We stayed in a bungalow and it was beautiful, huge balcony and lovely modern bathroom.
The staff is all extremely friendly and helpful. Put us Scots to shame.
The main plus was the fact the Greeks go there for there holidays. It has not been overrun by the typical British tour companies in fact the Scottish where the only Brits there. So has kept its natural Greek charm... Evia itself is beautiful and Eretria is only €4 in a taxi... well worth a look.
Can’t wait till next year... p.s. please don't tell too many people about this place as we don't want to ruin it.

Excellent Holiday, Beautiful hotel
I went in August this year with my fussy 14 yr old son, had a great time, staff were very friendly and food was varied, fresh and tasty. Pool and beach were spotless, there was loads to do if you wanted it,we were happy to relax, after a go on the canoes :-), with a good book and enjoy the view. Will go back next year with hubby and my 2 older kids.
